Hello, I’m Elizabeth. I design and make all of the beautiful jewellery on this website.

Originally from Yorkshire, I moved to Lincolnshire many years ago after meeting my furniture maker other half. Together we share a workshop near our home in rural Lincolnshire and we share our home with our rabbits, Hazel and Ozzy.

After completing a BA degree in Furniture Making at Leeds School of Art in 2011, I trained to be a secondary school teacher. Whist teaching, I felt that I needed a hobby and creative outlet that didn’t take up as much space as furniture making. I signed up for a silver jewellery making course and was instantly hooked. Over the next few years, I took courses and honed my skills until eventually in 2018, I made the exciting decision to take a step back from teaching and to make my passion, jewellery making, my main occupation.

My experience in furniture making has been a huge influence on my approach to jewellery making. Precision and accuracy are, in my opinion, paramount in the creation of your jewellery. Also, my furniture making past taught me that the difference between a good piece and a great piece is the care that is taken on the parts that are not seen. This is why you will find every piece from Elizabeth Anne Nutbrown Jewellery is beautiful from every angle.

In my workshop I use traditional jewellery making methods to cut, texture, shape, solder, polish metal and set stones in order to produce your jewellery. These techniques are also used to undertake repairs.

If you would like to keep up-to-date with my workshop activities, and occasionally the antics of my house rabbits, Hazel and Ozzy, then you can follow me on social media.
